Chanukah at Anshe Chesed was packed with joy and energy. We has a beautiful Chanukah chagigah.

Thank you to Mindy Schaper for planning, Michael Cohen for frying the latkes. Thank you as well to Even, Janet and Fiona Leibowitz for running an amazing project where the kids created resin pens.

There were arts and crafts for the children, games, delicious food, and plenty of sufganiyot throughout the evening.

Shabbat was especially meaningful as we celebrated Aaron Isler’s Bar Mitzvah — mazel tov to Aaron and the entire Isler family.

Out front, we lit our massive 10-foot menorah, sending a clear message to the world: we will not hide, and we will not shy away from our mission to fill this world with light and Godliness.

Thank you to everyone who participated in Chanukah Sparks, submitting daily divrei Torah that enhanced and elevated our Chanukah spiritually.

On Saturday night, we held our first parent-child learning prize store, complete with sufganiyot, where our youth were able to cash in the tickets they earned for prizes — a wonderful way to close out an incredible Chanukah!
