Welcome to Anshe Chesed of Linden
Why Linden
Linden is an affordable, welcoming, "small town" community in the metro-NYC area, with the peaceful comforts of suburbia and all the amenities of larger Jewish communities. It is one of the most centrally located cities in NJ: a half hour from Teaneck, Brooklyn, NYC, and many universities and major work centers. because of this, Linden has recently become the smart choice for young couples and families looking to settle down and grow their careers and families in a cost-effective way.

Our Mishna Yomi Journey
Anshe Chesed stands on three pillars: Prayer, Community and Torah Study.
Prayer -We gather to pray to daily as we work on fostering a lifelong relationship with God
Community- We gather together in times of joy and sorrow, sharing in each other’s milestones and providing support in times of need. And we care deeply about the welfare of the entire community of Am Yisroel.
Torah - We gather to study Torah. We believe in providing everyone with the opportunity to learn God’sTorah. Through daily podcasts, weekly Shiurim, and monthly guest speakers, we strive to foster a community deeply committed to the learning of Torah

Rabbi Yosef Katz Interview about St. Sgt. Boris Dunavetsky
Rabbi Yosef Katz of Anshei Chesed in Linden, NJ talks about the journey of their shul to learn more about St. Sgt. Boris Dunavetsky, H'YD. Boris grew up in Russia and traveled to Israel on his own for high school. He enlisted in the IDF at 18 and joined the Armored Battalion, inspired by his great-grandfather who served with the Soviet army in WW II. Boris was reliable, fun, loved to cook, being in the army was one of the best times of his life. He was killed by an anti-tank missile on December 17, 2023
