Welcome to Anshe Chesed of Linden

Why Linden

Linden is an affordable, welcoming, "small town" community in the metro-NYC area, with the peaceful comforts of suburbia and all the amenities of larger Jewish communities. It is one of the most centrally located cities in NJ: a half hour from Teaneck, Brooklyn, NYC, and many universities and major work centers. because of this, Linden has recently become the smart choice for young couples and families looking to settle down and grow their careers and families in a cost-effective way.

What Our Members Say

“When looking for a community in New Jersey, we
visited Linden and quickly found our place here. The
shul is a warm and embracing place to raise a family
and build lasting friendships, and we truly love it here.”

“In Linden, the Anshe Chesed community
cultivates strong connections and
unwavering support among its members.
This close-knit environment creates a
sense of togetherness, making living in
Linden particularly enriching and fulfilling for its residents.”

"Your worth as a person is not determined by your income in Linden, but by your kindness to others. There is no focus on the superficial. Everyone is valued.”

Our Mishna Yomi Journey

Anshe Chesed stands on three pillars: Prayer, Community and Torah Study.

Prayer -We gather to pray to daily as we work on fostering a lifelong relationship with God

Community- We gather together in times of joy and sorrow, sharing in each other’s milestones and providing support in times of need. And we care deeply about the welfare of the entire  community of Am Yisroel.

Torah - We gather to study Torah. We believe in providing everyone with the opportunity to learn God’sTorah. Through daily podcasts, weekly Shiurim, and monthly guest speakers, we strive to foster a community deeply committed to  the learning of Torah
