Anshe Chesed of Linden will host a challah bake for the zechus of a refuah sheleima for their beloved member Jojo Vizel. Jojo just turned bar mitzvah and is battling a rare and aggressive cancer. This challah bake is hosted as a zechus and fundraiser for him; all proceeds will go towards his medical bills.

The event will feature a baking demonstration by Overtime Cook Miriam Pascal, author of “Real Life Kosher Cooking” and “Something Sweet” and host of a popular Instagram account. Pascal will demonstrate her challah recipe as well as other dessert options using the same challah dough.

All ingredients will be provided and each participant will make their own hafrashas challah bracha and challahs to take home.

The event is for women only and takes place on Wednesday, November 1 at the Anshe Chesed shul at 1000 Orchard Terrace in Linden. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event begins promptly at 8 p.m.
