Rabbi Yosef Katz, a New Jersey native, joined Anshe Chesed in 2021. He studied for three and a half years at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh in Eretz Yisrael and continued his learning at Yeshiva University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School.

Rabbi Katz received rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, where he studied under Rabbi Hershel Schachter and Rabbi Assaf Bednarsh. Prior to joining Anshe Chesed, he served as a fellow in the YU Torah Mitzion Kollel of Chicago.

In addition to his rabbinic leadership, Rabbi Katz serves as a chaplain with the Linden Police Department. He is the founder of ParnassaHub, a volunteer-run organization dedicated to supporting and addressing employment needs in the greater Linden community. He also serves as a dayan on the GPS Conversion Beit Din.

Rebbetzin Emma Katz  is originally from Highland Park, NJ. Emma attended Yeshivah of Flatbush, MMY, earned her Bachelors degree in Judaic Studies and Education from Stern College for Women, and her Masters degree in Jewish Education from Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. Emma has taught in many formal and informal Jewish educational settings, including Shulamith High School for Girls in the Five Towns and Ida Crown Jewish Academy and Bruriah High School. Emma participated in the Bellows Eshkolot Tanach Educators Program at Matan Yerushalayim, learning both Tanach content and new and innovative educational methodology from leading Jewish educators. Emma  was previously  the Director of NILI, the Chicago institute of women's learning and an adjunct professor at the Stern Collage for Women and  currently serves as the Community Program Coordinator for the OU Women’s Initiative.  Emma is also a certified Kallah teacher.
