Youth Department
At Anshe Chesed, we place tremendous value on our youth, offering vibrant and meaningful programming for every age and stage.
Each week, our children enjoy Shabbat groups filled with parsha games, davening, and activities that make Torah come alive. Our younger families connect through Mommy-and-Me davening, parsha play, and interactive games that build joy and familiarity in shul from the earliest years.
For our pre-teens and teens, we offer youth onegs, teen onegs, and regular opportunities for leadership and involvement that cultivate empowerment and responsibility within the community. Rabbi Katz learns with the teens weekly between Mincha and Maariv on Shabbat afternnon. It is an opportunity that blends serious Torah learning with real conversations.
Throughout the year, youth participate in special programs, chesed initiatives, and davening experiences designed to give them a sense of ownership, pride, and belonging in our shul. Our goal is simple: to nurture a generation that feels inspired, included, and deeply rooted in Torah and community life.
