We had another wonderful holiday here at Congregation Anshe Chesed led by Rabbi Hess! We would like to thank and send a big yashar coach to all of our ba’alei koreh, ba’al tokeah, ba’alei tefillah, our chassanim l’torah and all of our members, friends, guests and volunteers who helped make this year so enjoyable and meaningful for everyone! We came together as a congregation to enjoy inspiring sermons by Rabbi Hess, our full exciting array of programming over sukkot and the scrumptious delicacies at our various kiddushim put on by our fabulous kiddush committee as well as Nava and co. on Shmini Atzeret.

Over sukkot we enjoyed our signature programming including our children’s sukkah hop and annual adult sukkah crawl over shabbat. One again we participated in OU’s Simchat Torah Together by our very own Morah Erica Yadlovker. The shul’s sukkah was practically busting at the seams this year with so many guests and friends who came to enjoy our unique and enjoyable programming as well as our fun-filled Simchat Torah dancing and festivities!

We would like to give a big thank you to our Youth Committee who again provided outstanding service with staffed groups throughout services during all of yom tov and for coordinating such great events for our youngest members. All of our children immensely enjoyed the sukkah decorating, annual sukkah hop and our simchat torah dancing and festivities including our extended 4th hakafah just for our children on Monday at evening hakafot.

Also this year, spearheaded by our Chesed Committee, our members worked together to coordinate outreach and invitations to families and friends who may not have a sukkah so they could have the opportunity to enjoy a warm friendly hosted meal where they otherwise might not. We want to thank our Chesed Committee for their efforts and we look forward to more exciting initiatives this year!
